Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Pierce Auto Detailing collects through this website and when you contact us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we use it to quote and schedule your detail, and we don’t sell it.

Who we are

Pierce Auto Detailing LLC, doing business as Pierce Auto Detailing, is an auto detailing shop at 553 S Calapooia St, Unit 4C, Sutherlin, OR 97479, owned and run by Caleb Pierce. You can reach us by phone or text at (541) 580-4873.

What we collect

• What you send through the quote form: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle, the service you’re interested in, and your message.
• Calls, texts and emails: your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to send us, such as photos of your vehicle.
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our web host’s server logs record your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. The quote form also uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions (spam protection).
• Analytics: visits and which buttons get used, through Google Analytics (see Analytics below).

Google Analytics is the only tracking on this site, and you can turn it off (see Cookies). There are no ads, ad pixels or advertising trackers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which buttons get used: calls, texts and quote requests. That tells us which pages help people book. It records pages viewed, how you arrived, device type and approximate location (city level). It never receives what you type into the quote form or the text builder: no name, phone number, email address, vehicle or message.

• No ads: we don’t run ads, and Google signals and ad personalization are turned off for this site.
• Google keeps the analytics data for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (Google offers 2 or 14 months).
• Analytics are on by default, and continuing to browse past the cookie notice counts as accepting them. You can opt out at any time, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser turns them off automatically (see Cookies).

How we use it

• To give you a quote and schedule your drop-off.
• To talk with you about your vehicle and the job, including a follow-up about that service.
• To keep the website working, secure and free of spam.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that help us run the site and get back to you, and only as needed for that job:

• Email delivery (Resend): delivers your quote request to us and a confirmation copy to you.
• Web hosting (Hostinger): hosts this website and its server logs.
• Maps (Google Maps): the maps on this site are embedded from Google and load when you scroll to them. Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.
• Analytics (Google Analytics): receives the usage data described above.
• Phone and text services: our phone carrier, or a text messaging provider if we use one, carries our calls and texts with you.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Text messages (SMS)

When you send the quote form, you agree that Pierce Auto Detailing may contact you by call, text message or email about your request. Message frequency varies with your request (usually a few messages to quote and schedule your job). Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call (541) 580-4873. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

This site uses three cookies:

• _ga (Google Analytics): tells one visitor’s visits apart from another’s with a random ID. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_WVF4MS33BJ (Google Analytics): keeps track of the current visit. Lasts 2 years.
• pad_privacy (this site): remembers your choice (OK, Opt out, or continuing to browse), so we don’t ask again. Lasts 1 year.

The first page you visit shows a short cookie notice. If you keep browsing without choosing, that counts as accepting analytics, and the notice doesn’t come back. You can still opt out at any time, using any of these:

• Choose Opt out on the cookie notice, or above on this page.
• Use the Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor it automatically: analytics stay off and we don’t show the notice.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

When you opt out, Google Analytics stops loading and its cookies are deleted. Embedded Google Maps may set Google’s own cookies when a map loads.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to quote, schedule and service your vehicle, and for our normal business records. Our web host keeps server logs for a limited time.

How we protect it

The whole site runs over HTTPS, the email service credentials are kept outside the public website folder, and only the shop can read your request. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we take reasonable care.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just call or text (541) 580-4873, reply to any email we’ve sent you, or write to Pierce Auto Detailing LLC, 553 S Calapooia St, Unit 4C, Sutherlin, OR 97479. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of analytics at any time (see Cookies).

Oregon residents

The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses that handle personal data of 100,000 or more Oregon residents a year. We’re a small shop well under that threshold, but we honor the same requests anyway: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and opt out of analytics. We don’t sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or sell data of anyone under 16. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
