Headlight Restoration in Sutherlin
Yellow, hazy lenses sanded, polished and UV-sealed. Brighter at night, sharper by day.
Plastic headlight lenses oxidize in the sun, turning cloudy and yellow and cutting how much light actually reaches the road. Wipe-on kits look good for a few weeks. Our restoration removes the damaged layer completely and seals the lens so the clarity holds.

What’s included
- Surrounding paint masked and protected
- Multi-stage wet sanding to remove oxidation
- Machine polish to full optical clarity
- UV-resistant sealant to slow future yellowing
How long it takes
About an hour. It pairs well with any exterior or full detail.
Great for
Vehicles five years and older, night drivers on dark Douglas County back roads, and anyone prepping a car for sale.
What customers say
Caleb does an amazing job! My wife and I have 4 kids so the inside of our car was a mess. He made our Honda pilot look and smell like a new car. He also fixed our “foggy” headlights. I will definitely be using Pierce Auto Detailing again!

Common questions
Is restoring cheaper than replacing the headlights?
Almost always. New headlight assemblies can cost hundreds of dollars per side, while restoration removes the damaged surface layer from the lenses you already have. If a lens is cracked or moisture is getting inside, replacement is the right call, and we’ll tell you.
How long does headlight restoration last?
With the UV sealant, typically a year or more depending on sun exposure. Parking in a garage or shade extends it.
